Who is this guide for?

This guide is for anyone who runs a Placement Catalog with a Retailer or Admin account.
  • You want to bundle multiple placements into a package to offer to advertisers
  • You want to create a space where advertisers can browse and select placements
  • You want to share placement performance data with advertisers

Before you begin

The following conditions must be met:
  • Access to the A2 admin console (Placement Catalog read/write permission)
  • At least one placement created to include in the catalog

What is a Placement Catalog?

A Placement Catalog is a feature that bundles multiple placements together and shows them to advertisers. For example:
  • “Premium banner package” - a catalog bundling the main top, sidebar, and bottom banners
  • “Mobile-only placements” - a catalog of only mobile app/web placements
  • “Seasonal promotion” - a catalog of placements offered during a specific event period
Advertisers can browse the catalog and submit an allocation request for the placements they want.

Step 1: Create a catalog

Enter basic information

  1. In the Placement Catalog menu, click Create new catalog.
  2. Enter the following information:
Describe which placements are included and which advertisers they suit, so advertisers can understand the catalog easily.

Step 2: Add placements

Select the placements to include in the catalog.
  1. Click the Add placement button.
  2. Check the placements to add from the list.
  3. Click Done.

Good to know

  • A single placement can be included in multiple catalogs.
  • Deleting a catalog does not affect its placements.
  • A catalog only groups placements for display; it has no effect on the placements themselves.

Step 3: Configure sharing

Configure how the catalog is shared with advertisers.

Choose visibility (Visibility)

Password protection (Password Protection)

If you set a password on a public catalog, viewers need the password even if they have the link.
A password is useful when you want to share selectively with specific advertisers.

Step 4: Include performance data

Choose whether to show placement performance data to advertisers.

Whether to include performance data

Metrics you can include

When you include performance data, you can choose only the metrics you want from the following:
Share sensitive information such as revenue with care. You can include only the metrics you need.

Step 5: Share the catalog

Once you’ve finished configuring, share the catalog with advertisers.
  1. On the catalog detail page, click Copy share link.
  2. Send the copied link to advertisers by email, messenger, etc.
  3. If you set a password, send the password as well.

What advertisers can do

Advertisers who receive the catalog link can:
  1. View the list of placements in the catalog.
  2. Review each placement’s information (size, type, performance, etc.).
  3. Submit an allocation request for the placements they want.

Manage catalogs

Add/remove placements

You can add or remove placements from an existing catalog at any time.
  1. Go to the catalog detail page.
  2. Click Manage placements.
  3. Add or remove placements.

Change sharing settings

You can also change sharing settings at any time.
  • Public → Private: The existing link no longer works.
  • Add a password: Viewers must enter the new password to access the catalog.
  • Change the password: The old password is no longer valid.
Catalogs are shared by catalog ID, so the link address itself doesn’t change. Only the settings change.

Delete a catalog

You can delete a catalog when you no longer need it.
  • Deleting a catalog keeps the placements it contained.
  • Previously shared links no longer work.

Troubleshooting

Check the following:
  1. The catalog is in Public status
  2. If you set a password, you sent the correct password
  3. The link was copied exactly
In the sharing settings, check that Include performance data is checked and the metrics you want are selected.
Use the password protection feature. Set the catalog to public and add a password, so only advertisers you’ve given the password to can access it.
